Men Clothing Suggestions

2 pairs of canvas or cotton pants
2 long sleeved button-up shirts
1 wide brimmed or straw hat
1 pair suspenders (optional)
2 pairs of comfortable broken in walking/hiking shoes
4 pairs of breathable comfortable socks
3 or 4 undergarments


Women Clothing Suggestions

1 or 2 pioneer style dresses or 1 or 2  skirts mid-calf length with long sleeved plain colored button-up shirts
2 pairs of pantaloons (includes capris, cut off pj bottoms and sweats)
1 apron
1 bonnet
2 pairs of comfortable broken in walking/hiking shoes
4 pairs of breathable comfortable socks
3 or 4 undergarments

What NOT TO Wear
Baseball caps, tank tops, t shirts, tight/short dresses, brand new shoes.

7)  Find 40% coupons for Joann Fabric, Hancock Fabric, and Hobby Lobby online, from friends, or by visiting a local store for their flyers
8)  Find free online patterns for bonnets, aprons, skirts, and pantaloons
9)  Ask the ward to donate unwanted fabric to the youth program for Trek
10)  Find cheap straw hats on ebay, http://www.windycitynovelties.com/, and at your local 2nd hand stores
11)  Borrow clothing from previous “Trekkers”
