On Saturday morning, July 30th, Shiloh Ward young women, and guests, did an 8 mile pre-trek hike from the Zoo to the Temple. It was a beautiful morning and the girls arrived tired but happy. They had a wonderful breakfast awaiting them as well as a devotional from Bishop McLaws. We are all so excited and ready for our journey!

Ma and Pa Rogers-Family Hike

Here are the pics from my trek family's 2nd meeting. We had gone on a little hike on the rims up at Phillps Park. It was really fun! We stoped about halfway in a spot where we could all see the temple and had a devotional and talk about staying hydrated. On the way down we decided to go the "fun and challanging way" where we pretty much just climbed down one rock after another. It was a ton of fun and we are all looking forward for trek!

Ma and Pa Nelson-Meeting #3

Tonight we had our 3rd meeting with all but 1 in attendance. We had a great time getting to know each other a little more and meeting and getting to know 2 members of our family who were at their first meeting with the family. We finished our flag with the theme "Hold to the Rod" and did our bucket lids and Arm bands. We are still trying to figure out what is going to make our family unique from everyone else but we will get it by our next meeting. What a great family!!!!! We love our kids and can't wait to meet with them again. Only 2 weeks till the Trek!

Ma and Pa Nelson-Meeting #2

We had Jaelyn Nielsen and Adam Lees in attendance for our hike. (Way to be committed, Jaelyn and Adam!)

Ma and Pa Mielke-Meeting #3

We did a mile hike on Zimmerman's Trail along the rims. The boys were not able to come unfortunately, and a few girls were missing.
